Christmas is near and what would make it more exciting? Christmas songs! The melody of Christmas carols is truly uplifting and it can make most people feel a little bit happier. For this year, the best Christmas Songs for 2011 are yet to come but here are the best ones newly released so far:
1. She & Him – A Very She & Him Christmas
She & Him is consisted of singer-actress Zooey Deschanel and singer-songwriter M. Ward. The two worked on this album in as early as April 2011. The album contains relaxing Christmas carols and Zooey Deschanel’s voice is really calming.
My Favorite Tracks in This Album:
Sleigh Ride
The Christmas Song
Baby, It’s Cold Outside

2. Michael Buble – Christmas
This is the latest Christmas album of Michael Buble and just like the previous one, the tracks are pretty awesome. I like the jazz-like melody of the Christmas songs he sang along with the sexy voices of female back-up singers. The line “Merry Christmas Mr. Buble!” sang by The Puppini Sisters with Michael Buble in Jingle Bells is really catchy, I can’t get it out of my mind!
My Favorite Tracks in This Album:
Jingle Bells (feat. The Puppini Sisters)
It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Holly Jolly Christmas
Santa Baby
In Stores: October 24, 2011

3. Justin Bieber – Under The Mistletoe
I’m not a big bieber fan, but his Christmas album sounds good. The only track I liked the best from his album is “Mistletoe” it sound really great, no wonder it immediately became the #1 hit song in iTunes within a day.
My Favorite Track in This Album:
Mistletoe

4. Carole King – A Holiday Carole
Carole King is a singer-songwriter well-known for her performances in American Idol. She previously toured with James Taylor. Her Christmas Songs sound truly relaxing as if you’re in a tropical paradise far away!
My Favorite Track in This Album:
Christmas Paradise

5. Paul Anka – Songs of December
Paul Anka’s Songs of December album is more of a slow and romantic style of Christmas carols. If you’re in a sentimental mood, this would be the perfect background song! The soundtracks in the album also have that vintage sound you would find in the 50’s and 60’s era. I really like listening to his songs when I’m alone and reminiscing the past, oh lovely.
My Favorite Tracks in This Album:
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
I’ll Be Home For Christmas
Winter Wonderland

Listening to New Christmas Songs, For a Cause!

If you like to enjoy new Christmas songs while lending a little help at the same time, Amazi’s Christmas Angel would be perfect. The Amazi band, a member of RSVP Trust, is raising funds in order to help provide clean water in several communities of Africa. All sales that will be made from their Christmas album will go straight to the fundraising program. I found it easy to help; their album in Amazon has two soundtracks “Christmas Angel” and “Amazing Grace”. These two songs sound very relaxing and it feels great to listen to them if you know you’ve done something to help the poor communities of Africa at the same time.
